UMM AL QAIWAIN, 29th January, 2026 (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain, has issued Law No. (1) of 2026 regarding the replacement of the name of the Smart Government Department in Umm Al Qaiwain.

The law stipulates that the name Smart Government Department shall be replaced with Digital Government Department, to be referred to as Digital Umm Al Qaiwain.
