TEHRAN -- The Iranian foreign minister on Thursday dismissed the fresh U.S. attempt at extending a UN arms embargo on Iran.

ISTANBUL -- Turkey's Deputy Foreign Minister Sedat Onal on Thursday urged the world to exert more efforts to carry out effective mediation for the peaceful resolutions of conflicts across the globe amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

ADEN -- Clashes erupted between the Houthi rebels and units of the joint pro-government Yemeni forces in the country's Red Sea port city of Hodeidah on Thursday, a military official told Xinhua.
