DUBAI, May 28 (Xinhua) -- The United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Thursday announced 563 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total confirmed cases in the country to 32,532.
The Ministry of Health and Prevention said in a statement that the new cases of many nationalities are all in stable condition and receiving medical treatment.
Meanwhile, 314 more patients have fully recovered from the virus, taking the UAE's recoveries to 16,685, according to the ministry.
The ministry also confirmed three more deaths, pushing up the country's death toll to 258.
The UAE was the first among the Gulf countries to report COVID-19 cases.
In late April, the Chinese consulate general in Dubai organized an online conference for Chinese doctors and medical experts to share experiences in preventing and treating the coronavirus with their UAE counterparts.
